Teaching is more than a career for me-it is truly my passion. I love creating meaningful connections with my students, helping them grow, and making learning fun. I began teaching in 1999, took some time off to raise my kids and jumped back in. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, my husband, Cory, and our boys, Max and Alex. We also have a lovable Golden Doodle named Graham who completes our family. I am very excited to be part of Lone Tree Elementary and this community!

My family, consisting of my two sons and two adorable puppies, loves the outdoors and we take full advantage of everything Colorado has to offer. You can find us on the weekends paddle boarding, fly fishing, hiking, camping, and taking pictures of nature. My true passion is teaching kindergarten because I love the curiosity and eagerness to learn at this age. After teaching kindergarten in many different capacities in public schools and Montessori, I am very fortunate to be a part of this LTE, with collaborative and supportive teachers/staff and a fantastic community!

I have been in Colorado most of my life spending a short time in Alabama. I am an adventurous person and I love to spend time exploring the United States in our RV with my family, riding mountain bikes, paddle boarding, kayaking, and hiking. My goal as an educator is to create lasting connections with my students and provide a safe comfortable environment where all learners can thrive.
